Understanding delivery challenges and weekly incentives
Last updated February 15, 2026
GoRoute offers delivery challenges and weekly incentives that reward you with bonus money for completing a set number of deliveries within a specific time frame. These are one of the best ways to boost your earnings beyond base pay and tips.
How challenges work
A challenge is a promotion that pays a bonus when you hit a delivery milestone. For example: "Complete 30 deliveries between Monday and Sunday and earn an extra $50." Challenge bonuses are paid on top of your regular earnings — they don't replace your base pay or tips.
Challenge tiers
Many challenges offer multiple tiers so you can choose the level that fits your schedule:
- Tier 1: Complete 15 deliveries → earn $20 bonus
- Tier 2: Complete 30 deliveries → earn $50 bonus
- Tier 3: Complete 50 deliveries → earn $100 bonus
You select your tier when you opt in. Choose realistically — if you don't complete the required deliveries, you won't earn the bonus for that tier. You can change your selected tier before making significant progress.
How to opt in
When challenges are available in your market, you'll see a notification in the app. Go to Earnings > Promotions > Active Challenges to view details and opt in. Challenges are time-limited and may not be available every week — check regularly so you don't miss out.
Tracking progress
Once you've opted in, a progress bar appears on your home screen and in the Promotions section showing how many qualifying deliveries you've completed and how many remain. GoRoute sends reminder notifications as the deadline approaches.
When bonuses are paid
Challenge bonuses are added to your earnings immediately upon hitting the milestone. They appear as a separate line item in your earnings breakdown and are available for Fast Pay cash-out right away or included in your next weekly payout.
