How the GoRoute driver referral program works

GoRoute's driver referral program lets you earn bonus money by inviting friends and family to join the platform as drivers. When someone signs up using your referral code and meets the qualifying requirements, both of you can earn a bonus.

How to refer someone

Find your unique referral code in Account > Referrals. You can share it directly via text, email, or social media using the built-in share button. When the person you referred signs up, they must enter your referral code during registration for the referral to be tracked.

Qualifying requirements

For you to earn the referral bonus, the new driver must:

Complete the full signup process, including document verification and background check.
Complete a minimum number of trips within a specified time frame — typically 50 trips within their first 30 days of activation.

The exact requirements and bonus amounts vary by city and may change over time. Your referral screen always shows the current offer details for your market.

Bonus amounts

Referral bonuses range from $50 to $500 depending on your city and current demand for new drivers. In some markets, the bonus is split between you and the new driver (for example, $250 each). In others, the full bonus goes to the referrer. The specific terms are displayed on your referral screen before you share your code.

Tracking your referrals

Go to Account > Referrals to see the status of each person you've referred. You can track whether they've signed up, passed their background check, and how many qualifying trips they've completed. Once the new driver meets all requirements, the bonus is automatically added to your earnings and available in your next payout or via Instant Pay.

Important notes

Referral codes must be entered during signup — they cannot be applied retroactively.
You cannot refer someone who already has a GoRoute driver account.
GoRoute reserves the right to modify or discontinue the referral program at any time.
