Understanding your weekly earnings statement

Last updated March 1, 2026

Each week, GoRoute generates a detailed earnings statement summarizing everything you earned and any deductions applied. Understanding this statement helps you track your income and plan your finances effectively.

Fare breakdown

Every trip fare is calculated from three components:

  • Base fare: A flat amount charged at the start of each trip, which varies by city and ride type.
  • Time rate: A per-minute charge for the duration of the trip.
  • Distance rate: A per-mile (or per-kilometer) charge based on the route taken.

If surge pricing was active during a trip, the multiplier or flat bonus is shown alongside the fare for that trip.

Tips

Rider tips are shown as a separate line item. GoRoute does not take any commission on tips — 100% goes directly to you. Tips may be added by riders for up to 30 days after the trip, so your weekly statement may include tips from previous weeks' rides.

Bonuses and incentives

Any quest bonuses, consecutive trip bonuses, or referral earnings you qualified for during the pay period appear in the Promotions section. Each bonus lists the promotion name, the qualifying criteria, and the amount earned.

Deductions

GoRoute deducts a service fee (typically 20–25% of the fare, depending on your market) from each trip. This fee covers platform costs including payment processing, insurance, customer support, and app development. Toll charges paid by riders are passed through to you without any deduction. Any Instant Pay fees you incurred during the week are also listed here.

Net payout

The bottom of your statement shows your net payout — the total amount deposited to your bank account. This equals your total fares plus tips plus bonuses, minus the service fee and any other deductions. You can view current and past statements anytime in Earnings > Weekly Statements.
